Each player will receive a team t-shirt and hat at the beginning of the season. At the end of the season, each player will receive a medal, as well as both an individual and team photo. There will also be pizza/BBQ nights throughout the season, and a year-end party.
The season generally runs from mid-May until the end of July. Players will be contacted by their coach in early May. Please see our calendar/schedules for specific dates.
All games are played at the Etobicoke Valley Park located at 72A Westhead Rd., Etobicoke, ON, M8W 4S3.
A helmet with full earflaps and chin straps (MANDATORY!!), a softball glove, athletic shoes (plastic/rubber cleats are welcome, but metal cleats are not permitted), and a jock/jill. The league will provide each registered player with a team T-shirt, & baseball cap. We also provide backcatcher equipment for those who may wish to try their hand at catching. Teams will provide bats to be shared amongst the players. *If a player wishes to bring their own bat, they must agree to share it with the rest of the team.*
Extreme heat & air quality: This season we will not be cancelling games due to extreme heat or air quality. Should you choose not to attend, games will proceed accordingly.
Rain & flooding on the field: All decisions made regarding cancellations will be made BY 5PM the day of the game/practice. At this point an email will be sent out, and our Facebook page & website will be updated.
